This program has minimum requirements on skilled work experience, language ability and education. You must meet all the minimum requirements to be eligible

Six Selection factors

If you meet all the minimum requirements, we’ll then assess your application based on:

  1.  Age
  2.  Education
  3.  Work experience
  4.  Whether you have a valid job offer
  5.  English and/or French language skills
  6.  Adaptability (how well you’re likely to settle in Canada)

These factors are part of a 100-point grid used to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You earn points for how well you do in each of the 6 factors. The current pass mark is 67 points.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates who want to work and live in one of Canada’s 4 Atlantic Provinces. The AIPP is an employer-driven program designed to help employers in Atlantic Canada hire qualified candidates for jobs they have been unable to fill locally. The candidate must receive a job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada to participate in the pilot. 
There are three streams:
  • Atlantic High-skilled Program (AHSP)
  • Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program (AISP)
  • Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP)

Provincial Nomination Program

The PNP is for candidates who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory want to live in that province and want to become permanent
residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and requirements. Normally, it can be categorized into student, business people, skilled worker and semi-skilled worker. The PNP can be the paper-based process, or the online process through Express Entry. The candidate can find detailed information and procedures from following province or territory official website:
